Please do your homework before you use Najee Ali as a “source” for the 1992 Civil Unrest.  The Civil Unrest took place over 6 days beginning April 29 and on May 1 Najee Ali was incarcerated according to his arrest record (see below) for a Forbidden Act During an Emergency.  He was released on May 3 so he wasn’t even around for most of what occurred.  Please rely on credible sources who were present during the event to represent how Black people felt and give eyewitness accounts of what happened.
